Martin called us when he discovered water seeping through the walls at his Kingston Upon Thames home.

Straight away we could tell that the problem was his old chimney, and this was confirmed when we got up to take a look. The stacks were very damaged and the mortar was severely cracked and loose.

Apart from the leakage there was also a concern that the old stacks and mortar could be dislodged the next time there was heavy wind and rain, a serious health hazard.

We quickly took care of it, carefully dismantling the old chimney and finding suitable replacement stacks and then securing the new chimney stacks with fresh mortar.

Not only does the new chimney look better than new, it is now resistant to leaks and no longer a risk to health or home.

I had a problem with a flat roof and Aaron went to the house immediately and sent me a video of the issue. The job had to be scheduled while I wasn’t there and he completed it quicker than anticipated and on schedule sending regular updates of the progress . Fantastic service from Aaron and Merton Roof Repairs. They carried out extensive work to our roof, including a full de-moss and clean, repairs to the leadwork and pointing, ridge tiles, slates and gutters. Very thorough, high-quality and professional job replacing some slate tiles and repointing chimney. Slate tiles were a unique size, so cut to size specifically. Will definitely hire again if needed.

We had the ridge tiles, guttering and fascia boards replaced or capped. Joseph was easy to communicate with and came by on the first day to see how it was going. Joseph and the team have been brilliant. We have a flat roof which needed to be waterproofed as it has worn down over time. Joseph was great with the communication and set a very good price. The team came on time and completed the job in one day. The paint coating is perfect and the flat roof is now fully water proofed. They also provided advice on other aspects of the roof which was really helpful. I would highly recommend the team for their expertise and professionalism.

We had an on-going promlem with a leak from an extension flat roof and Merton Roof Repairs came the next day to repaint/re-seal the whole roof. I can see it was a great job as now when it rains the droplets have nowhere to get into as its such a smooth waterproof surface. Would recommend for any repairs you need.
